We were assigned to use the website www.houseplans.com to find a one story house over 500 square feet to redesign using the Sketchup software. When choosing our house, we had to consider shape, roofline, and overall details.
Creating
We started building a mock up of the house we chose using the Sketchup software. We worked with a variety of tools to make it look as realistic as possible. After we had the house drawn up, we used the push-pull tool to make the shapes 3D and added textures.
Final Product
After we finished, we made an animation of the rotation of our house so you can see it from all angles. We made close ups on our favorite features and put them all into one video. My favorite part was starting small and getting to see the house come to life overtime.
