The Project: In our typeface anatomy project we learned about different fonts and how there are a variety of typeface styles. We learned about the difference between serif and sans serif fonts and how to work with both. In addition, we were introduced to new tools in Illustrator such as lines and arrows.
Favorite Part: I really enjoyed this project in particular because we were able to see the differences between our names and our classmates and how different letters have different designs. Also, I learned new terms for the letters which I didn't know existed.
What I would change: Next time I think I'd be more exciting if we could choose the word we analyzed. Using our name was interesting but I think being able to chose our word would let us have a bit more creativity within the assignment.
