Chairs in Sketchup

The Process
This was our first assignment using the Sketchup software. We watched a variety of video tutorials on how to work with the different tools and create simple 3D objects. Once we were able to make simple shapes, we progressed into using the push-pull tool to extend each side to create everyday objects such as the chairs pictured below.

What I Learned
Sketchup is a big switch from using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. It has tools that aren't included in Adobe software such as push-pull tools and different move tools. Something important I learned is that you have to be very exact with your selections to move objects or your project may become unproportional.

Conclusion
Using Sketchup was harder than I thought It'd be. I was confused on how to use some of the tools and navigate between my images. After I figured out some of the issues, I was able to work more efficiently but overall, this was not one of my favorite projects.
