AB Sequence

Summary of Project/Beginning Steps
During the AB Sequence project, we worked on improving our 6- shot techniques and continued using the Premiere editing software to piece together our shots. We began by sketching up each scene and scouted out our locations for shooting to make sure we had everything planned out before we started. We went through the sketching process once, but soon realized we had to redesign our scenes after we began shooting and weren't able to follow through. Once we finalized our sketches, we took the camera and equipment to the halls and began shooting.

What Went Well
Throughout the project we had several things that went well. Our group worked very well together and we had good time management. Each group member was assigned a job and we were never rushed to finish our shots in time. In addition, each member put forth an equal amount of effort to complete the project.

What Could Be Improved
Although this was round two shooting and using the editing software, we still had some flaws in our final project. We need to work on refining tech skills such as stabilizing the tripod while shooting and having smoother transitions. In addition, we could work on shooting certain scenes at the same time of day so the lighting remains the same throughout the entire video.

Final Wrap Up
Our final video ended up being 1 minute and 1 second long. It was a second over the limit even with the speeding up of certain clips. I think the speeding up of the clips adds to the video by portraying the idea that she's in a hurry to get to the restroom however, next time we'll need to work to shortening our shots. In conclusion, we've made improvements from our previous project but still have things to correct for projects in the future.
